Who we are

This website is run by G² Digital (G Squared Digital), a web design studio based in Scotland. We are the controller of the personal information described here. You can contact us about anything in this policy at hello@gsquareddigital.co.uk.

What we collect

When you send us a project enquiry, we collect what you choose to tell us:

• Your name and email address, and your phone number if you give it
• Your business name, industry, town or area, website and social media links
• Details about your brand and project, including any logo file you upload
• Your message, and the date and time you agreed to this policy

If you email us directly, we'll have your email address and anything you include in your message.

How we use it

We use your information only to reply to your enquiry, prepare a proposal or quote, and, if you become a client, to deliver your project. We will never sell your information or use it for unrelated marketing.

Our lawful basis is your consent, which you give with the checkbox on the form, and the steps needed before entering into a contract with you at your request.

Who else handles it

We use a small number of trusted services to run this website and handle enquiries:

• Vercel: hosts this website
• Neon: stores enquiries in a database hosted in London
• Cloudflare: stores files you upload, such as your logo
• Formspree: delivers enquiry notifications to our inbox

Some of these providers are based in, or may process data in, the United States. Where that happens, the transfer is protected by safeguards approved under UK data protection law.

How long we keep it

If your enquiry doesn't lead to a project, we delete it within 12 months of our last contact. If you become a client, we keep project records for as long as we need them to provide our services and meet our legal and accounting obligations.

Cookies

This website doesn't use advertising or tracking cookies. If we add analytics in future, we'll ask for your consent first where the law requires it, and update this policy.

Your rights

Under UK data protection law you can ask to see the personal information we hold about you, and ask us to correct it, delete it, restrict how we use it, or send it to you in a portable format. You can also withdraw your consent or object to how we use your information at any time. Just email hello@gsquareddigital.co.uk.

If you're unhappy with how we've handled your information, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) at ico.org.uk. We'd appreciate the chance to put things right first.
