The Kenmuir Arms
A new front door for a community-owned Galloway inn
From Dumfries to Stranraer, we design bespoke websites for businesses across Dumfries and Galloway, without anyone needing to drive up the M74.
Working together
Dumfries and Galloway is a big region, and a lot of businesses here are used to working with people who aren't next door. We work with D&G clients by video call, phone and email. You see your designs as live links on your own phone and laptop, and give feedback when it suits you, not when a meeting's booked.
If you'd like to meet face to face at some point in the project, just ask and we'll see what we can arrange. Whatever the arrangement, you deal with the person designing and building your site, from the first call to long after launch.
Our prices are the same as for a business in Glasgow city centre. You won't pay a premium for being further away.
Who we help
The region's economy leans on tourism, food and the land, with a strong spirit of small, independent businesses. Some of those we're set up to help:
Visitors come for the coast, the forests and the quiet. Your site needs to sell the setting, answer practical questions and take people straight to booking, whichever system you use.
Galloway Forest Park, the 7stanes mountain-bike trails and the dark skies bring active visitors. Guides, hire businesses and activity providers need clear information and easy ways to book.
Producers, farm shops, cafés and delis across the region, including Castle Douglas, the region's food town, need to tell their story and keep stockists and opening hours up to date.
Kirkcudbright's artistic heritage and Wigtown, Scotland's National Book Town, are part of a thriving creative scene. Galleries, makers and independent shops need sites that show the work beautifully.
Builders, agricultural contractors, vets and local services often travel long distances for work. Naming the towns and glens you serve, with a page for each main service, means searches from those places lead to you.
Dumfries and Galloway, squared
Across much of the region, mobile signal and broadband can be patchy, for your customers and for visitors driving in. That makes speed more than a nice-to-have. We keep pages lean: no bloated themes, photos compressed and resized for each device, and nothing loaded until it's needed, so a page still appears quickly on one bar of signal.
It's one of the reasons we build sites from scratch rather than using heavy themes and plugins. Here's everything that comes as standard.
Many of your customers start planning from Glasgow, Edinburgh, the north of England or Northern Ireland, long before they arrive. They search for things to do, places to stay and where to eat in a specific town. With search-focused web design, each of those questions gets a page that answers it, and your Business Profile and website point at each other, which helps you show up in map results too.

FAQ
Yes. We work with businesses across Dumfries and Galloway by video call, phone and email. You get the same service, prices and support as a business in Glasgow, and you don't pay extra for the distance.
Most D&G projects run entirely remotely, which saves you a long drive. If a face-to-face meeting would help at some stage, mention it when you get in touch and we'll look at what's possible.
That's exactly what we design for. Pages are built mobile-first and kept light, with images optimised for each screen, so they load quickly even on a weak rural connection.
Yes. Whether it's a holiday-let platform, a table booking service or an activity booking tool, we can link to it or embed it in your pages. Anything more involved gets a clear quote before work starts.
