Gear Bikes

Bringing 27 years on Gibson Street online

Gear Bikes already had the things that matter most: a named, friendly workshop team, single-speed and fixed-gear heritage and touring hire with panniers and free luggage storage. The job was to bring all of that across online, and to put prices up front.

Gear Bikes

A refined brand, used with confidence

Before a single page was built, we pulled together a simple brand guideline for Gear Bikes: when to use Gear Red, which fonts go where, and how the shop sounds when it talks to customers. It made everything easier. Every page now shares the same look, feel and friendly, no-nonsense voice, so whether you land on the workshop, hire or about page, it all feels unmistakably Gear Bikes.

Gear Bikes

Every service, priced and explained

Nobody likes guessing what a bike service will cost, so we broke the services right down. Each one, A, B and C, sits on its own repair tag with the price up front and a clear list of what's included, from cable tweaks to new hub bearings. Anything extra, like a £15 brake bleed, is spelled out too. Customers can find the right service, see the price and know exactly what they're getting before they even walk in.

Calls and bookings, one tap away

On a phone, a bar fixed to the bottom of every page keeps three actions in reach: Call shop, Text Joe and Book hire. Wherever someone is on the site, whether they're checking a service price or reading about touring bikes, the next step is a single tap. It's designed to turn browsing into calls, texts and hire bookings.
